Andie had it all planned out.
When you are a politician’s daughter who’s pretty much raised yourself, you learn everything can be planned or spun, or both. Especially your future.
Important internship? Check.
Amazing friends? Check.
Guys? Check (as long as we’re talking no more than three weeks).
But that was before the scandal. Before having to be in the same house with her dad. Before walking an insane number of dogs. That was before Clark and those few months that might change her whole life.
Because here’s the thing—if everything’s planned out, you can never find the unexpected.
And where’s the fun in that? ❤
Morgan Matson has written the perfect summer read. Fun and lighthearted, it doesn’t shy away from the realistic portrayal of friendships between girls who are keeping secrets from each other, relationships between family members who haven’t sat down to a meal together in years, and above all, what it’s like to walk multiple dogs at once.
I loved her writing and the way she writes romance.I enjoyed the characters and how they all interacted together better than the actual story. Especially Clark; it was really refreshing to for once have a sweet, nerdy love interest. I loved Andie too, she was so relatable. I totally ship those two 💑😍. The supporting characters were awesome too; I just loved how friendship was so important in this book because its usually taken for-granted both in the books I read and real life. The Unexpected Everything was just what I was looking for in a summer contemporary novel. I can’t help but smile just thinking about this book!
So overall this was such a good read guys, I totally recommend it! It’s funny, sometimes sad but really heart-warming! You just have to pick it up if you haven’t. Happy Reading! 💛😍
